Halloween is just one sleep away, and downtown is buzzing with festive events for all ages. Halloweek at the Square continues tomorrow with a Costume Contest hosted by Jon Jon and iHeart Radio at 11 am, followed by Jammin’ on the Square featuring The Naked Karate Girls at 6 pm. While you’re there, grab a drink at the Fountain Bar and take advantage of happy hour from 4 to 6 pm.
For the little ones who prefer a calmer thrill, join the Cincinnati Public Library tomorrow for a special Halloween Family Storytime at the Downtown Main Library. From 10:30 to 11:30 am, Youth Librarian Korinne will lead a cozy hour of songs, stories, and puppets. After storytime, kids and caregivers can parade through the first floor for trick-or-treating—costumes encouraged!
Did someone say caramel apple shots? Tomorrow night, grown-up ghosts and ghouls can enjoy an Out-of-This-World Halloween at The Lackman from 8 pm to 2 am or embark on a Boo-ze Cruise at Pilar, which sets sail at 3 pm and continues until 2 am. Dress in your best costume and experience a night of fun and spooky good cocktails. Don’t miss Pilar’s Happy Hour from 3 to 7 pm, featuring half-priced drafts, wells, and wine, plus complimentary candy to sweeten the night. Already booked for Friday? No worries—The Lackman keeps the party going Saturday night, too!
The fun doesn’t stop at Halloween, either. Good vibes continue on Sunday with Girls Night Out at Mellotone Beer Project, which is a one-night-only pop-up dance club with proceeds benefitting Planned Parenthood of Southwest Ohio. From 5 to 9 pm, experience music, movement, and unapologetic joy—exclusively for women, trans, and nonbinary folks. Wrap up your weekend with an event for a good cause and purchase a ticket today.
