3CDC - Your Weekend Starts Downtown: Olympics, Beer, and Big Energy

Source

Downtown Cincinnati is the place to be this weekend! Tomorrow night, kick off your weekend and head to Fountain Square for an Olympics Watch Party at Winterhaus. From 5 to 11 pm, enjoy access to the full bar while you tune in to the opening ceremony with your city. Enjoy being in the heart of downtown while staying cozy and warm inside the heated tent.

Then, Saturday brings a full slate of events to satisfy every kind of weekend vibe… like taking advantage of the chance to ditch your pants for a good cause! From noon to 4 pm, Cupid’s Undie Run at Queen City Radio brings together runners for a mile(ish) run to support those affected by NF (neurofibromatosis). The event kicks off with drinks and dancing, followed by the run, and ends with some epic dancing. Register to join the party and learn about this important cause.

Dry January is so last month. Cincy Winter Beerfest is taking over the newly reimagined Cincinnati Convention Center with day and evening sessions—featuring a beer and drinks list with hundreds of craft beers, wineries, and distilleries. The event is so close you can almost taste it! Get your tickets now.

The start of February also signifies the beginning of Black History Month! Head to Rhinegeist Taproom for Celebrate Black Voices from 12 to 6 pm, a free event featuring a Black-owned vendor market, food from Maw Maw’sDJ Queen Celine, and Q-Kidz dance performances. While you’re there, grab a pint of Mack’s Island Ale—a tropical beer named after Theodore Mack Sr., owner/operator of Peoples Brewing Co., one of America’s first Black-owned breweries. $1 per pint supports the Q-Kidz Dance Team, a local organization that provides dance and educational programs to youth in Cincinnati.
