The position will be based primarily on the Hamilton Campus, and the successful candidate may be asked to teach on any of the nearby regional campuses.

Job Description
Visiting Assistant Professor to teach history courses, including both halves of the World History survey and provide student advising beginning August 18, 2025.  Miami University Regionals are open admissions campuses with a liberal arts curriculum. The position will be based primarily on the Hamilton Campus, and the successful candidate may be asked to teach on any of the nearby regional campuses. 

Minimum Qualifications:

Ph.D. in History by date of appointment.

Consideration may be given to applicants with the ability to teach African American History and experience in online teaching.

Cover letter, curriculum vitae, and evidence of teaching effectiveness. Evidence of teaching effectiveness may include course evaluations, teaching philosophy, and/or sample activities.
